The Hyperion is a thick tread tire for better grip on wet or soft terrain. The extended front sipe provides greater stability in lean-overs, and the three-way grip grooves on the lug surface provide greater confidence when riding over hard obstacles. All of this translates into better performance in muddy conditions.
The Textra layer (a high-density rubberized fabric) protects the entire sidewall and bead area and significantly increases sidewall cut and abrasion resistance. Tires with this type of protection are primarily intended for riding and racing on rough terrain, where they provide excellent reliability and ultra-high performance.
