Maxxis tire SHORTY 3CG/DH/TR 27.5X2.40WT, kevlar

After years of data collection and feedback from our Downhill World Cup and Enduro World Series athletes, the Shorty has been redesigned for 2021. The lug layout has been tweaked to improve wet traction, cornering performance and mud shedding. A narrower 2.40" tire improves frame and fork clearance when the going gets tough, and reduces weight.

3CG - High traction compound designed for Enduro and DH.
DH - The DH tire consists of two 60 TPI plies. The inner layer is combined with a butyl insert, resulting in the most durable tire in the Maxxis range.
TR - Designed for tubeless systems

WT - The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tire's tread layout and profile.
WT can be used on rims with an internal width ranging from 19mm to 35mm.
