Accurate professional scale for quickly checking the wear (extension) of the bicycle chain. The correct position of the scale is fixed by pressing the chain roller onto the chain pin, i.e. same as when stressing the chain by pulling on the teeth of the derailleur/sprocket.

The control touch indicates 4 levels of wear:
0% (ok)
0.5% (limit recommended by a range of manufacturers for 11-12speed chains, including SRAM® T-Type, SRAM® Flattop™ and Shimano® XTR®)
0.75% (limit for 5-10speed chains)
1% (limit for single-speed chains)
