That's why we developed this bag: the single-layer synthetic fiber filling in the Sioux 400 lightweight sleeping bag reduces weight while providing sufficient insulation for trekking and overnight hut tours in temperate climates.
Synthetic fibers also wick moisture away, insulate even when wet (unlike down) and dry quickly. The mummy cut and anatomical hood retain warmth and provide a pleasant microclimate for a good night's sleep.

The sleeping bag is also ideal for nights under the open sky: The outer layer of the Sioux 400 sleeping bag made of synthetic fibers is treated with a PFC-free Eco Finish, which ensures water repellency and resistance to dirt.
Overall, we placed great emphasis on sustainability with this lightweight sleeping bag and it belongs to the VAUDE closed-loop concept.
The main fabric and filling are made from 100% recycled polyester. It also features a material-saving cut, is robust and easy to repair. The VAUDE Green Shape brand stands for ecological, functional products made from sustainable materials.
