One reason is the completely new chamber design: The waffle structure creates a flatter lying surface and offers greater comfort for side, back and stomach sleepers.
Secondly, the Performance 9 L sleeping pad uses innovative insulation: The interior of the pad is divided into different convection spaces using reflective foil.
The air heated by the sleeper circulates in the upper part, while the cold from the floor remains in the lower part.
In addition, the heat emitted by the sleeper is reflected. Although the Performance 9 L sleeping pad does not have a classic feather or synthetic fiber filling, we recommend using an air pad or VAUDE air bag to prevent moisture from entering the pad.
