Maxxis Assegai Tire – Greg Minnaar’s signature tire provides tenacious and predictable grip across the entire profile regardless of lean angle.
The Assegai can be used both front and rear for safety or as a front tire paired with a faster rolling rear tire.

Rubber:
Dual compound (best for dry and hard conditions)
3C MaxxGrip (best for soft and wet conditions) – the compound uses the stickiest and slowest rebounding rubber.

Shell:
60x2TPI
Downhill (DH): two layers of our durable 60 TPI casing material along with a large butyl rubber insert that extends from each bead to the sidewall.
Sizes 2.40″ and wider are optimized for rims with an internal width of 30mm – 35mm.
TR: Tubeless Ready.
