Ibex GRAVITY X wheelset, MicroSpline

Universal MTB/Enduro/Gravity all-black 29" wheelset with a straight 28-hole spokes, precisely handmade to the latest standards and meeting the strictest criteria. The wheels withstood an entire season of tireless downhill racing and training in the hands of the SK Grafobal / Top on Trail DH team. From early spring to late autumn, each rider relied on a single set of wheels - without the need for replacement.

RIMS

IBEX 30 - size: 622 x 30

This rim has been tested at the Czech DH Cup, IXS Downhill Cup and our own IBEX Cup in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. It is built to meet the brutal demands of elite level racing - from factory riders to registered individuals.

TUBELESS READY – with tubeless tape, the wheels are ready for use with tubeless tires in the optimal width from 2.30" to 2.70".

GOATed Alloy - a special durable alloy with an optimized GREATEST OF ALL TIME (GOAT) composition, which is 88% stronger than 6063 T6, or 47% stronger in tensile strength than 6061 T6.

SLEEVE JOINT - rims are manufactured using the proven SLEEVE JOINT coupling technology (joined using a shaped aluminum insert), with the joint additionally reinforced with a SPOT WELD spot weld.

PINCH FLAT SAFE HOOK - the rim profile with PINCH FLAT technology is designed to maximize the contact area between the rim and the tire at the critical interface and prevent unwanted cutting of the tire by the rim during a hard impact of the wheel with very low tire pressure.

RIM LOCK - the rim drilling for the spoke is conical, so the nipple is not fixed and can rotate/move from its axis at an angle of up to 6°, which prevents the spokes from bending and helps reduce the tension between the spoke and the rim.

HUB

Straight-pull RX 3074 + RX 3073 on industrial bearings, with direct spoke mounting and 6-hole disc mounting.

BOOST configuration 15 x 110 mm + 12 x 148 mm

Rear hub with Shimano Microspline 12S aluminum nut.

The 6-latch nut system and 48-tooth ratchet ring in the hub create up to 96 engagement points compared to 40 points in competitive hubs.

STRING

28/28 spokes with reduced stainless steel straight spokes 2.0 mm - 1.7 mm - 2.0 mm with black anodizing and black self-locking duralumin nipples.
The spokes are made of high-strength Swedish stainless steel Sandvik T302.
