The Forekaster is aimed squarely at modern, short-travel trail bikes (100mm – 130mm) – aka the “downcountry” segment.
The Forekaster turns faster than the Minion or even the Dissector, but provides more predictable traction in turns, climbs, and braking than the Aspen or Rekon.

Rubber:
3C MaxxTerra (best for mixed conditions) - the compound offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, but also provides better tread wear and lower rolling resistance than MaxxGrip, making it ideal for trail riding in all conditions.

Shell:
60 TPI + EXO (general trail use)
EXO+: 60 TPI casing, EXO protective layer on sidewalls + small butyl insert around the bead
2.40″ and wider sizes are optimized for rims with an internal width of 30mm – 35mm
